With over 15 years of experience in the corporate world and more than five years of volunteering in behaviour support, women’s and couples’ emotional wellbeing, and Brazilian community integration in Ireland, I discovered my true calling in psychotherapy: walking alongside people on their journey of growth through empathy, presence and genuine listening.
I hold a Diploma in Psychology from Dublin Business School and am currently completing a Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy (CBT). As a trainee psychotherapist in Irish colleges and English language schools, I offer individual therapy in both English and Portuguese to adults and young adults from a variety of cultural backgrounds. I also deliver talks and workshops on mental health in multicultural settings.
My approach combines Person-Centred therapy with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), creating a safe and non-judgemental space where you can explore your emotions, identity and personal history at your own pace. I work primarily with the immigrant community, including Brazilians in Ireland, international students, intercultural couples and children of migrants.
I have supported clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem issues, cultural adjustment and relational trauma. For those who wish, I also offer Christian counselling and pastoral care, providing a space where emotional and spiritual reflection can come together.
What to expect when working with me
You can expect warmth, active listening, emotional safety and honesty. My role is to support you as you reconnect with your strengths and move towards a more balanced and authentic life.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy gardening, swimming, tabletop role‑playing games, road trips, and prayer as ways to stay grounded and recharged.
