His work at a suicide prevention centre has shown him the humbling power of being in the presence of the person in the seat across from him. This has led him to focus on both suicide prevention and adaptive psychotherapy in palliative care during his academic career.

Jeff has had a passion for psychotherapy for several years and brings that passion into the therapeutic space.

Jeff is also a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, (IACP) and a member of the LGBTQI+ community.

Jeff has a strong belief in the therapeutic relationship and how it can help affect change in a person’s life.

He has a client centred approach; this means Jeff can draw from a multitude of theoretical practices to help the client find the outcomes that best suit them. This aids Jeff in working
with clients from a variety of backgrounds and with varied mental health challenges.
