Hello, my name is Diane. I am a fully qualified counsellor/psychotherapist and a member of IACP. Before qualifying as counsellor/psychotherapist I worked for many years in the financial services sector. Due to this, I have personal experience of career change and what is involved in making this huge adjustment. While this required many sacrifices, it allowed me to address my personal needs which led to immense learning, personal development but most importantly the opportunity to provide a safe space for clients as they embark on their journey.

I have experience of working with a wide range of presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, difficulties associated with identity, bereavement and loss, anger, relationship and family difficulties. As part of my studies, I completed a thesis which researched the area of social media and its impact on mental health. Due to this, I have a keen interest in this area.
I work from an integrative perspective, drawing from a range of modalities including person-centered therapy, reality therapy, ACT, CBT, and pluralistic psychotherapy. My core goal however is to understand your needs and goals and to build a strong therapeutic relationship where you can feel safe and heard.

If you identify with any of the issues which I mentioned or if you have just reached a point in your life where you feel lost or unable to reach out to those around you, please contact me.
