Dermot is a proud Neurodiverse LGBTQIA+ Therapist. He has previously worked as an accountant with over 20 years’ experience in the Corporate Environment.

In 2018, he set up his own therapy practice Inner Voice. He has over 10 years’ experience both professionally and personally in relation to therapy.

In 2021 he was recently diagnosed as being autistic, and this diagnosis has greatly enhanced his life both personally and professionally. He is an out proud autistic queer man.

In 2023, he took over the management of a therapy centre and renamed the centre to Inner Voice Inner Journey. As well as a practicing psychotherapist, he is the Clinical Director of Inner Voice Inner Journey Therapy Centre. The Therapy Centre’s sole purpose is to support the Neurodiverse Communities’ Mental Health through Psychotherapy and Spirituality.

In his role as an integrative therapist. primarily, Dermot deals in the areas of Low Self-esteem, Depression, Anxiety LGBTQ+, Grief & Loss, Sexuality, Men’s Health, Anger Management , Shamanic & Neurodiversity. Furthermore, he has led and presented workshops both online and offline in Stress Management, Diversity and Belonging, Neurodiversity, LGBTQIA+ , and Men’s Mental Health.

In his spare time, he is a keen runner, and to date he has completed three Dublin Marathons.
